40 BELOW SUMMER To Film 'Relapse' Video; More Live Performances Scheduled
November 9, 200640 BELOW SUMMER has announced plans to film a video clip for the single "Relapse" with director Michael Saladino of On The Point Films. "Relapse", the first single off the group's new album "The Last Dance", has been receiving airplay on a number of Active Rock and Alternative radio stations.
40 BELOW SUMMER performed a surprise show at New York City's Snitch club on Wednesday, November 1. The band played a short five-song set for their fans who had showed up for "The Last Dance" listening party. On Saturday, November 4, the group performed to a nearly sold-out audience at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey for their first official live performance in a long time. 40 BELOW SUMMER has booked three more regional performances for the first week of December:
Dec. 01 - Somerville, MA @ Good Time Emporium
Dec. 02 - Allentown, PA @ Crocodile Rock Cafe
Dec. 03- Farmingdale, NY @ The Crazy Donkey
"The Last Dance" was released on October 31 via Crash Music, Inc. The album includes nine new tracks as well as a 90-minute bonus DVD of the band's last performance at the Starland Ballroom as well as interviews with the band members. "The Last Dance" sold 1,100 units during its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
